High Silica Plain Weave Cloth
Application
t is mainly used to strengthen various resins, as high temperature and ablation resistant materials (such as engine nozzles, throat linings), and reinforced PTFE used for wave-transmitting materials (such as aircraft radomes) substrates for com- posite materials etc.
Now some manufacturers are also starting to use high silica plain weave fabric as the outermost layer of white fire protection suits. Due to its lighter weight, it is also used for lighter plain weave fabrics such as BWT260 and even BWT100 in fire protection scenarios that require lightness.
